Dear members of our society
Dear colleagues
We are very pleased to invite you to the Swiss Eye Week 2019 organized by the Swiss Society of Ophthalmology SSO. It will take place from January 29 to February 1, 2019 at the Mövenpick Hotel in Lausanne.
The aim of the Swiss Eye Week is to teach and review recent advances in ophthalmology in a comprehensive manner for our residents in ophthalmology as well further interested members of our society.
It is our pleasure to announce that the format of the Swiss Eye Wee will be expanded with practical, hands-on / interactive workshops for ophthalmologists, including a workshop on postoperative management of modern glaucoma surgery, a practical interactive x-linking workshop, an OCT workshop, a panel discussion with distinguished experts about the pros and cons of steroid therapy in different cases and more to announce.
Furthermore, we host the swiss eye research meeting (SERM) as the platform of basic research in Ophthalmology in Switzerland.
Besides the scientific parts, the platform also provides ample space to extend your professional network and to share your knowledge and enthusiasm with colleagues and friends.
Please be aware that the number of participants for the workshops on Thursday, January 31 and Friday, February 1 are strictly limited. We strongly recommend an early registration to ensure that you get your preferred individual program.
We are looking forward to another successful and inspiring meeting in a new format and to welcoming you to Lausanne in January 2019!
Warmest regards,
